International Trade 國際貿易 (HKDSE Economics 經濟科)

假設有甲、乙兩個城市

兩個城市都只會生產兩種物品︰電腦、食物

對於甲城市來說︰全力生產下，1年可生產 10 部電腦或者 100 件食物

對於甲城市來說︰全力生產下，1年可生產 10 部電腦或者 200 件食物

Opportunity cost analysis 機會成本分析

甲城市︰

生產 1 部電腦就要放棄 10 件食物
生產 1 件食物就要放棄 0.1 部電腦

乙城市︰

生產 1 部電腦就要放棄 20 件食物
生產 1 件食物就要放棄 0.05 部電腦

結論︰

於生產電腦上，甲城市放棄較少的食物 (lower opportunity cost 機會成本較低)
即甲城市於生產電腦上有 comparative advantage 比較優勢
甲︰出口電腦、進口食物
於生產食物上，乙城市放棄較少的電腦 (lower opportunity cost 機會成本較低)
即乙城市於生產食物上有 comparative advantage 比較優勢
乙︰出口食物、進口電腦

Trade ratio 貿易比率

甲︰生產 1 部電腦，是放棄 10 件食物，只要出口 1 部電腦可換取 10 件或以上的食物，甲城市都無需蝕本
乙︰生產 1 件食物，是放棄 0.05 電腦，所以進口 1 部電腦的價格低於或等於 20 件食物，乙城市都無蝕本
所以貿易比率︰ 10 件食物 ≤ 1 部電腦 ≤ 20 件食物

例子︰1 部電腦換 14 件食物

甲︰生產 1 部電腦，本來是放棄 10 件食物，但於貿易中，換取乙城市的 14 件食物。14 減 10 = 4 件食物，就是貿易中甲城市的得益
乙︰本來要放棄生產 20 件食物，才可生產 1 部電腦，但於貿易中，只要 14 件食物已經換到 1 部電腦，20 減 14 = 6 件食物，就是貿易中，乙城市節省到的好處
兩個城市都有好處，貿易就可以進行

Tranportation cost 運輸成本

若交易 1 部電腦時，需要以 2 件食物作為運輸成本，Trade ratio 貿易比率會有什麼變化呢？

個案1︰運輸成本由甲城市支付

甲︰生產及運輸 1 部電腦去交易，是放棄 10 件食物另加運輸成本 2 件食物，所以出口 1 部電腦至於可換取 12 件或以上的食物，甲城市才沒有蝕本
乙︰生產 1 件食物，是放棄 0.05 電腦，所以進口 1 部電腦的價格低於或等於 20 件食物，乙城市都無蝕本
所以貿易比率︰ 12 件食物 ≤ 1 部電腦 ≤ 20 件食物

例子︰1 部電腦換 14 件食物
